Ahoi! Aboard the Volharding with Craft of Use crew.

A sea shantey, splicing rope, a coffee pot overboard and new perspectives at sea level.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a post-Local-Wisdom ship trip on the Thames. Sea men and women included: Timo Rissanen (Parsons, New York), Holly McQuillan and  Jen Whitty (Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand), Lynda Grosse (California College of the Arts, San Francisco), Vibeke Riisberg (Kolding Design School, Denmark), Jo Cramer (RMIT, Melbourne, Australia), Helene Day-Fraser (Emily Carr, Vancouver), Katelyn Toth-Fejel & Kate Fletcher (London College of Fashion).
